Romantic Vintage Hair Tutorial

I have always had a strong admiration for the romantic, wavy hairstyles of eras past. There is a kind of old time charm that is missing in today’s fashion, so I thought I would share a vintage inspired hairstyle that I love to wear, especially on a more formal night out. I also paired the hairstyle with a vintage military frock style jacket and a ruffled top, to further compliment the antiquated look. I feel like this could be worn to a prom for a more classic look, or even a wedding. It can easily be dressed down or accented by different jeweled berets or flowers.

I know you said in this video to comment your blog for a request. Could you do a makeup/hair video on the Elizabethan period? This is one of my favorite time periods. Kate Winslet’s makeup from the movie Titanic is a good example, but I can’t quite figure her look and her hair out in that movie. Also, she sports lovely red hair like you do. :) Thanks. x
