After all the love and support I’ve received through You Tube, I thought it would be a great idea to create a makeup book series for all of you! Although it is in the preliminary stages of creation, I thought it would be helpful to ask everyone’s opinion on which makeup looks or themes you would like to see covered in the series.
What I need to know from all of you:
1. what do you think would be the most popular horror or theatrical looks that people would want to see applied at a horror/sci-fi convention?
2. What looks/ themes would you want to see covered in the series?
3. Would you be interested in a professionally filmed live tutorial DVD to accompany the books?

I’m a freelance makeup artist residing in Ontario, Canada. I'm inspired by everything from the dusty, archaic theatres, to the antiquated charm of the silver screen. A self proclaimed vintage girl with a penchant for the beauty in eras past.
I know it’s almost 2 months after your post, but I love the Hollywood icon/vintage style of makeup tutorials - those looks are so helpful. I can use them on myself out in the world and they’re staples of theatre and film makeup. If you could throw in a few hair basic hairstyles/techniques with the makeup in the book, that would be really great too. It’s nice to have a complete hair/makeup look all in one place! I’d have to buy my copy online, though (I live in the Washington DC area).

Thank you so much. Honestly, I get so much spam on my website it’s nice to see a genuine comment on my blog! I will try my best to incorporate at much as possibl. Theatrical looks are my specialty, so it’ll be a lot of fun to do.
I think this is a marvelous idea! I think the DVD with the books is a great idea something I would buy no doubt! And as for sci-fi and horror I think anything you do would be great a lot of make-up books show how to do pretty make up which is great I’m a hugh fan of old hollywood glamour from the 20′s 30′s 40′s and 50′s but to have a book or book series that has both would be most fantastic!
