Any make-up enthusiast will perk up at the mention of Arabian inspired make-up. The beautiful color palettes, crisp feline shape and smoldering kohl liner evoke a sense of sensuality and mystery. This particular tutorial is a recreation of my Arabian look I created a few years ago. The video was poorly lit and suffered from equally awful video quality. It turned out to be one of my most popular videos to date, which in a sense didn’t surprise me. The overall design can be applied to so many different styles and tweaked to anyone’s personal taste. It is both daring and classic, sexy and feminine.
They key to this look is clean lines. Don’t underestimate the power of a sharp angled brush and some concealer if your edges get messy. If you’re new to this type of makeup, try applying your eye makeup first so you minimize the fallout and avoid ruining your face makeup. You can also apply a generous amount of translucent powder under your eyes so when you apply a dark eye shadow any fall out will be caught within the powder and can be be dusted away when you’re done.
This deep palette can easily be swapped out with any vibrant color to create a more modern and colorful Arabian look. If you want to attempt the look but prefer the softer approach, you can tone it down by eliminating the false lashes and utilizing grey or neutral shadows instead.

Just started using neostrata infusion. I noticed you apply very little. I think I may be applying too much of it. Im having dehydration lines- perhaps that’s why I’m using a heavy hand with it. How much should i use and what cleanser do you pair with it? Your beautiful skin has made me want to stick with this skincare regime for a bit!

Hi Megan! I find a little product goes a long way. Sometimes when I have a day off at home, I’ll apply a little more than usual and just let my skin soak it up to help add some hydration. I find this helps a lot, especially in the winter months when my skin is prone to drying out. Thanks for the lovely compliments! I usually use the NeoStrata Oil-Free Cleanser and I exfoliate once a week with the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser! I hope it works out for you
