As a freelance makeup artist I’m always on the hunt for new and exciting makeup lines to add to my kit. I was first introduced to Glamour Doll Eyes last year, when a wave of trustworthy beauty bloggers posted their reviews on YouTube praising her mineral based products. Glamour Doll Eyes is an independently run makeup company that was created by the lovely and talented Vanessa in November of 2008. With nearly a hundred different colors to choose from, there is no shortage of variety. Whether you’re drawn to the more vibrant side of makeup artistry or the classic, natural looks there is a little something to satisfy everyone’s individual tastes. Vanessa has ensured that her customers not only have a diverse range of shades to choose from, but often enlists the help of her followers to choose new names for her up and coming colors. This alone shows her high regard for customer interaction and that is one of the many reasons why I admire her company.

Paired with great customer service, another enticing factor about this company is the amount of color payoff that is received with their eye shadows. It is often difficult to tell whether or not a product will live up to its hype, so I decided to take it upon myself to experiment with them and was pleasantly surprised at just how rich and diversified each color turned out to be.
