As the holiday season is quickly approaching, there are bound to be family gatherings and endless festivities to attend. I always love sporting extra glitter this time of year and experimenting with different make up looks to get into the Christmas spirit. I asked all of you on Twitter which color combination you would prefer to see next and the green and silver look won by a landslide.

I haven’t seen many looks using this color palette, so it was definitely a challenge trying to create something that could still transcend the holiday season and be worn all year round. I think this type of look would look very complimentary if paired with a dark plum lip for an even more dramatic flair. The key to this look is using some kind of cream base. Whether you decide to use an eyeliner or cream shadow, this will intensify the color and make it appear even more vibrant. For added diversity, play around with the color combination and try out different lashes to enhance or downplay the look.
