Radio Vintage is a completely non-profit, streaming radio station that specializes in providing all the classic hits of the 40s and 50’s. I stumbled upon their banner on ClassicRetroGlamour’s Facebook page and was elated to find this hub of vintage music compiled all in one place. For anyone that reads my blog or watches my videos, you’ll know that I am very much inspired by music. It has always been a great influence in my life, especially when it comes to my art. Whenever I need to boost my mood, I always turn on the golden era classics and it never fails to pick me up and add a positive vibe to my day.
Radio Vintage isn’t just devoted to broadcasting golden age radio, but also enlightening its audience on the history of the music and fashion popular in that time. If you’re interested in brushing up on your vintage trivia, you’ll find a great run down of the origins behind big band, rockabilly and rhythm and blues music. I think that preserving such an original era for music in this way is extremely important and hopefully it will expose a new generation to its charm in the process.
