What I Like:
Long Lasting - There is nothing worse than wearing concealer that fades drastically throughout the day. This is the reason why Make Up Forever has been one of my go-to brands since the very beginning. The full cover concealer has a waterproof formula, which makes it great for long days and is the perfect solution to having to constantly retouch your make up. I love using it on hot summer days or for photo shoots when I know I’m going to need extra longevity. Once you set this concealer with powder it does not move. It definitely gives you some extra reassurance, especially with the unpredictability of allergies or bad weather.
High Coverage - If you suffer from tried countless redness or discolouration like I do then you’re no stranger to endless experimentation to find something that actually covers. I’ve tried several concealers from the drug-store as well as high end brands, many of which have failed miserably. It is also especially beneficial on days when my skin looks red and more blotchy than usual. I also love how it has the ability to disguise most imperfections with very little product, yet is build-able without creating a cakey mess.
What I don’t like:
The one problem I have is the price which is a common concern with any high end make up brand. I think if you’re a serious make-up enthusiast or a professional artist, then the $36 price tag won’t come as a shock to you. If you’re on a budget I would suggest looking for something like the Smashbox HD Concealer that retails for $22 or the NYX Hi Definition Concealer Wand that retails for $5.
Tips for application:
-
Apply a few dots from the inner corner of your eye to the top of your cheekbone and work the product outwards towards your temples. This is called “the triangle of light” which is known to brighten the under eye area and give a much more awake appearance.
-
Pat over the area with your fingers or a small blending brush to buff the product into the skin and smooth out any creasing.
-
Set with a translucent powder with a small fluffy brush or powder puff to keep it in place all day.
- A quick side note: Apply a thin layer of a matte eye shadow primer beneath your eyes before applying your foundation or concealer. This helps to prevent creasing under the eyes and keeps your concealer looking fresh all day.
Where to Buy: At your local Sephora location or online at Sephora.com

Completely agree with this review! I’m a student and I choose to buy Full Cover Concealer because it’s highly pigmented, really long lasting and you only need a “small dot”/just a few of the product! -I’m french and I don’t know how to explain that, sorry
-
It’s expensive but you didn’t buy one of this concealer empty in 3 months, it’s the complete opposite!

It’s such a worth while product, in my opinion! I used it all through college and it helped disguise my under eye bags from the countless all nighters! I’m so glad you like it as well x

This looks like an amazing concealer. I want to try it now. A bit of an expensive price tag, but looks like it is worth it. I have one eye that has worse bags than the other, so this might be worth the investment. <3
Thanks for reviewing it.

You’re welcome, Brittany! It’s definitely one of my favorite beauty products. It doesn’t look dry like a lot of other concealers do and it has impeccable coverage. It’s certainly worth every penny!
