Tips for Application
- Be sure to exfoliate your lips before applying any product, as matte textures tend to accentuate any dryness you may have.
- Choose a similar colored lip liner and fill in the entire lips. This will act as a base and allow for a more natural effect as your lipstick wears off throughout the day.
- Apply the lipstick with a small lip brush for added control and precision. Applying it straight from the tube can be messy.
- Use a flat edge brush and run a small amount of concealer around the lip line. This will prevent feathering around the lips when using dark colors.

What I don’t Love
I’ve been wearing this particular lipstick for years and I’ve never had any complaints with it. I am always in favor of posting an honest review and pointing out any concerns I may have, but I have to say, this is one of those products that doesn’t disappoint. I have dry lips naturally and I find I can still wear this lipstick for hours without retouching and my lips still remain moisturized.

I’ve been looking for a good red lipstick with a blue base. The one’s I’ve tried read too orange or yellow. This looks like it could be a contender! Thanks for the info!

That’s wonderful! I know how hard it can be to find the right shade of red. It varies so much from person to person. I find this blue-based red is pretty universal. I hope it works out for you

I agree, this is hands down one of my favorite lipsticks! It was given to me as a gift from a makeup artist who does my PinUp makeup and I receive compliments everytime I wear it.

Isn’t is beautiful? It’s been my number one favorite for years now. I haven’t found many other products that deliver quite like this one!
